Brampton, January 22 (CINEWS): A  gas station attendant was robbed at gunpoint in the wee hours of Monday, and now police are looking at the possibility that the same two men also robbed a Caledon gas station.
Two men covered their faces and walked into the Husky station at Bovaird Drive West and McLaughlin Road at 3:35 a.m.
One of the men was armed with a handgun.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
The armed bandits took the cash till and fled. No vehicle was seen. Police K9 officers and the Tactical Unit scoured the area, but no arrests were made.
Meanwhile, Caledon OPP say a Shell gas station attendant was robbed on the Brampton border with Caledon on the same morning. The two men, with their faces covered, were armed with a handgun in that robbery, also. It happened at Mayfield Road and Airport Road, just prior to the Brampton robbery.
Peel’s Robbery Bureau is investigating, working with the OPP. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 3410, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
