Gurdaspur attack: Army units arrive at spot (Update)

Gurdaspur, July 27 (ANI): Army units have reached Punjab’s Gurdaspur area, where an encounter between security forces and suspected terrorists is currently underway

National Security Guard (NSG) commandos and Punjab Police’s SWAT teams have also been called in to handle the situation.

Three civilians have been killed and four others injured in a suspected terror attack on Dina Nagar police station in Punjab’s Gurdaspur area today.

The gun battle between security forces and alleged terrorists ensued after the latter opened fire on the police station and a bus.

Five bombs have also been recovered from Dina Nagar- Pathankot railway track. (ANI)
