London, July 14 (ANI): Australia’s veteran wicketkeeper Brad Haddin is likely to miss the second Ashes Test against England, which starts on Thursday at Lord’s due to personal reasons.
According to the BBC, the 37-year-old did not practice on Tuesday and uncapped Peter Nevill could be roped into the team in the absence of Haddin.
Haddin had a forgettable match in Cardiff as he made scores of 22 and 7 and dropped crucial catches, including of Joe Root during Australia’s 169-run defeat.
Meanwhile, pace bowler Mitchell Starc is expected to be fit despite suffering an ankle injury in the first Test in Cardiff. (ANI)
