Johannesburg, Sep 05 (ANI): Reigning Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton outpaced local hope Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari in the final practice session ahead of Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
Hamilton posted the fastest lap of one minute and 24.544 seconds and was 0.264 seconds quicker than Vettel, who is the four-time former world champion, Sport24 reported.
Nico Rosberg finished third ahead of Williams’ Valtterri Bottas and Felipe Massa, who was fifth.
Hamilton also won both practice sessions on Friday.
Hamilton leads the Drivers’ championship standings from Rosberg by 28 points after claiming his sixth win of the season at Spa. (ANI)
