‘Have no complaints against anyone’, says Swati Maliwal

London, July 28 (ANI): Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has decided to switch to Major League Soccer (MLS) after signing for Montreal Impact.

Drogba has joined the MLS club following after his second spell at Chelsea where he won the league title last season.

Montreal president Joey Saputo said that it was an honour to welcome Drogba to the Impact and the signing was one of the biggest days in club history, the BBC reported

He also said that his arrival would be beneficial to the club in every respect.

Drogba, who has been brought in as designated player at the Canadian side, will get wages which will not be restricted by the MLS salary cap.

Montreal Impact, which have the member of the MLS since 2012, finished bottom of the table last season. (ANI)

London, July 28 (ANI): Alarmed by the number of houses being bought by foreigners in the United Kingdom with ‘plundered or laundered cash,’ Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to expose the use of ‘anonymous shell companies’ to buy properties.

Cameron, who is on a four-day tour of South East Asia, is expected to comment on the issue during a speech in Singapore about corruption, where he will urge the international community to ‘step-up and tackle’ the problem, reported the BBC.

He is expected to urge the world to make sure that the U.K. does not become a ‘safe haven for corrupt money’ from around the globe. (ANI)

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Swati Maliwal who took charge as Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief on Tuesday saying she had no complaints against anyone.

“I have no complaints against anyone. I always think of the future, never about the past,” Maliwal told ANI here.

Maliwal took charge as the Chairperson of DCW for the second time, following the approval of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.

The Lieutenant Governor, who has been locked in a tussle with Kejriwal over the appointment and transfer of senior bureaucrats, had earlier declared Maliwal’s appointment as “ultra vires” of the rules.

The AAP has rejected allegations of nepotism made by the BJP and the Congress saying it picked the person who is best suited for the job. (ANI)
