Have you visited the Toronto Zoo lately?

Toronto, March 11 (CINEWS): Despite all the hype and hoopla about the twin pandas named “Canadian Hope” and “Canadian Joy,” not to mention the recent visit by PM Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, not many Canadians or other tourists seem to be following their footsteps.
And despite what the zoo’s CEO says, poor attendance has little or nothing to do with the weather.
It was hoped that having the giant pandas loaned to the Toronto Zoo by the Chinese government would have encouraged more visitors to the zoo, it does not seem to have happened.
It may have to do with the price say many visitors. Visitors could expect to spend $68 for two tickets and another $12 for parking. Children 3-12 pay $14. So a family of four could expect to spend over a $100 for a visit to the zoo. That is a lot of money for many families who are hard-pressed to make ends meet. Unfortunately, many young families are affected the most and they are the ones with children who could really benefit and enjoy a day at the zoo.
