HC refuses to cancel school exams in flood-hit TN

Chennai, Dec. 18 (ANI): The Madras High Court on Friday rejected a plea seeking cancellation of half yearly examinations for school students in flood-hit Tamil Nadu.

While hearing the petition, a Bench comprising Chief Justice S.K. Kaul and Justice Pushpa Satyanarayana, recorded the statement of the government pleader that the examinations had already been postponed to next month and that the syllabus would be completed before the tests.

The court then dismissed the petition.

The Bench also refused to entertain a petition seeking postponement of the CBSE public examinations. (ANI)
