Bollywood veteran and MP Hema Malini has expanded her presence on social media recently. She has launched a Twitter account that will be used for his political activities to share news about what is happening in her constituency, Mathura.
This comes after the 67-year-old BJP politician announced last month that she would restrict her Twitter updates to her Bollywood and dance activities only.
She had been criticized for sharing pictures from her film shoot amid violence in Mathura. “I would like to announce my new Twitter handle set up especially for my activities in my constituency, Mathura. Whoever is interested can go through that,” Malini posted.
She has already begun posting details about her activities in Mathura.
“Distributing gas connections through the Ujjwala Yojna,” she wrote in one post.
In another, she posted, “Inaugurated RO Plant at Janu village in Goverdhan constituency.” Malini posted that she also had a meeting with administration heads and departmental officers regarding development progress in Mathura. – CINEWS
