Herbal trees to be planted along Kshipra river

Haridwar, May 20 (IANS) A spiritual group based here will plant scores of herbal trees on a 195-km stretch along the Kshipra river in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

The Gayatri Pariwar group said this would be done as part of a water conservation and environmental protection drive. The announcement was made by Gayatri Pariwar head Pranav Pandya.

The group is active in promoting afforestation in many parts of Madhya Pradesh.
