Melbourne, Feb 21 (ANI): Emma Watson, who actively uses her fame to promote gender equality, is gearing up for a year-long hiatus from showbiz just focus on other areas of her life.
The star, whose latest film ‘Regression’ failed at the Box-Office, revealed that she is stepping back from the movie industry so that she can focus on her “own personal development” and “read a book a week and also to read a book a month as part of my book club,” News.com.au reported.
The ‘Harry Porry’ star added, “One thing I am going to do that I’ve been working on for a while is completing my yoga Level 3 meditation for teaching.”
Watson, who has become increasingly vocal in the world of feminist activism after launching the successful HeForShe campaign, revealed that she was nearly tempted to go back to university.
She said, “I almost thought about going and doing a year of gender studies, then I realised that I was learning so much by doing my reading. It almost feels like the chemistry and structure of my brain is changing so rapidly sometimes. It feels as if sometimes I’m struggling to keep up with myself.” (ANI)
