Washington DC, July 18 (ANI): Hillary Clinton’s digital team seems to just have made a mistake or they are really smitten by competitor Barack Obama’s style as they recently declared that they are wooed by President’s style of using web to create a feeling of intimacy with Americans.
The former US Secretary of State’s campaign’s deputy digital director, Jenna Lowenstein, said during a panel at a convention of liberal activists, Netroots Nation, in Phoenix, that the White House’s online outreach acts like a model for how public figures should connect with voters, the Time reported.
Lowenstein added that one would love to have a candidate who would wish to sit down and have a drink with him and with the help of digital media i.e. Instagram, Tweet, and email one would create a good relation with voters.
Notably, the first African-American President’s hour-long interview with Marc Maron, and the president unveiling his proposal for free community college in a nine-second Vine was spectacular.
Also the digital director shared that when the president rolled out free community college, they did it in Vine and it was the perfect delivery mechanism, it was kind of this badass moment where the president was sitting on Air Force One and in 9 seconds explained the policy. (ANI)
