HireAction – supporting hiring of Ontarians with Autism

HireAction, a program to inspire and support hiring of Ontarians with Autism, was  be introduced at a high profile event in Vaughan, Ontario on Thursday, June 23.

HireAction is a new program created to highlight the compelling business case for hiring People with Autism and to provide employers with a wide array of tools to enable successful employment of these workers.

The keynote speaker was Garth Johnson, CEO of Meticulon, a software and website testing company where 100% of its IT consultants are People with Autism.  Other guest speakers at the event included prominent local representatives who promote and support the employment of Ontarians with Autism.

HireAction’s Vaughan launch event was held at The Miele Experience Centre, 161 Four Valley Drive, from8:30 am to 12:00 pm, on Thursday, June 23. – CNW
