New Delhi, Sept.19 (ANI): Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan on Saturday described Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s family as more pro-capitalist then the NDA Government at the Centre.
“Rahul Gandhi has been repeatedly using the word ‘suit boot ki sarkar’. I think he has been taught to use this line in his speeches and he has been using it repeatedly in the last six to seven months. History is evidence that Rahul’s family is more pro capitalist,” Paswan told ANI here.
“Even last time, I had termed there’s Swabhimaan Rally’ as an ‘Apmaan Rally’ ,as Sonia Gandhi was insulted. Earlier, the Congress never use to share the dais with Lalu Prasad , as he was labeled a convict in fodder scam. It only shows that the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ does not take Rahul Gandhi seriously as Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar did not come to welcome him in the rally,” Paswan added.
Gandhi on Saturday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not fulfilling the promises made to the electorate during 2014 elections.
“I had said some days back that this government is not for the poor, this is a suit-boot ki sarkar… They promised two lakh jobs, they promised Rs15 Lakh in each account, they said they would control prices. Did it happen?” Gandhi said at a rally in Bihar’s West Champaran District.(ANI)
