New Delhi, July 1(ANI): RSS ideologue K Govindacharya on Wednesday said that the different opinions from within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the ongoing ‘Lalitgate’ controversy was a result of lack of communication between its members, urging the party to have a mutual consent and understanding.
“It is the work of the party workers to sit alongside and have a common opinion. There are one or two people and they are saying what they are feeling. Therefore, it is clear that there is lack of communication within the party,” Govindacharya said.
The RSS ideologue also called for Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to resign from her post.
“Raje should resign on moral grounds. She is completely guilty on moral grounds by safeguarding and favouring her co-workers and staff. The general public will not follow the minute legal details. There is a general notion within the public that all politicians go together and work for each other’s interest. “
“I don’t have any doubt on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political intelligence and he will certainly come out with a solution to save party’s image. I am sure that the Prime Minister must be aware of all the aspects of the problem and the political message that it was sending,” he added.
The opposition has been gunning for Raje’s resignation after documents emerged which showed that the Rajasthan Chief Minister had helped former IPL Chairman procure travel documents.(ANI)
