Huawei to market its Honor mobiles offline through Zopper

New Delhi, Dec.22 (ANI): Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company Huawei has entered into a partnership with Zopper, a market place for consumer durables and home appliances, to market its Honor mobile devices offline.

The partnership will allow Huawei devices to be available through 267 Zopper outlets in Delhi NCR(Gurgaon, Faridabad), Chennai, Vellore, Pondicherry, and Bengaluru.

Zopper has also announced a five percent cash back on purchase of Honor 6 and Honor 4X smartphones till Thursday.

The app-based service clears that consumers will get maximum cashback amount per transaction is 5 percent of invoice value or Rs. 750 whichever is less. Additionally, consumers will be also given 1-year free accidental or liquid damage cover bundled with all Honor smartphones from Zopper.

As per the agreement, Zopper will retail the Honor 4X priced at 9,999 and will be available in both Black and White variants. The Honor 6 will be available at 14,999. For those unaware, Zopper app allows consumers to choose the retailer with the best price for a product.

Huawei has said that its tie-up with Zopper is in addition to its ongoing partnership with Sangeetha Mobile, a retail chain in South India, to sell the Honor Holly smartphone.

Allen Wang, President of Consumer Business Group, Huawei India said, “We are very encouraged with the response we have received for our Honor smartphones in India, including the Honor 4X, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 7. To reinforce our commitment towards our customers in India, and allow a higher level of access to Honor smartphones, we have decided to introduce Honor smartphones in the offline sales channel, which starts with the tie-up with Zopper, which allow customers to choose the retailer offering the best price for a product.” (ANI)
