New Delhi, Sept. 7(ANI): Denying allegations that he had no faith the Aam Aadmi Party central leadership, party MP Bhagwant Mann today expressed faith in Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership saying he is a loyal soldier of the party.
His remarks came in the wake of reports that he had, in a telephonic conversation with suspended MP Dharamveer Gandhi, criticised party’s leadership and raised doubts over AAP’s prospects in the next Punjab Assembly elections.
Talking to media after meeting with party leaders in New Delhi, Mr Mann said he only talked about the group-ism in the state unit and did not take Mr Kejriwal’s name.
“This is a result of dirty politics, it is their frustration, and this is being done seeing rise of AAP in Punjab. Arvind ji is nowhere stated in the tape. We are fighting against the mafias in Punjab and I am working as a soldier within the principles of my party,” Mann said. (ANI)
