Imran Khan goes to Harvard University

Mumbai, January 12 (CINEWS): Besides doing films, Imran Khan also invests his time in supporting a number of causes. The actor is known for endorsing PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and is a staunch supporter of gay rights.

Now, Imran has been invited to speak about LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights at the Harvard University India Conference 2016. It will be hosted at the Harvard Business School and at the Harvard Kennedy School, USA.
A source says, “Imran has been invited by the Harvard University to speak about LGBT rights at a conference that will be held on February 6 and 7.”
When contacted, Imran confirmed the news, and said, “I’ve always been a proud supporter of the LGBT community. There are issues they face that I feel strongly about. I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to be part of this discussion on such a prestigious platform.”
