Increase in VAT exposes ‘dual face’ of AAP: BJP

New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to take the call over the resignation of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister for Oil and Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan in connection with the Vyapam scam.

“The cabinet of Narendra Modi and Shivraj Singh Chauhan is in the blow of the Vyapam scam. Ultimately, it is Prime Minister Modi who has to decide if the Petroleum Minister and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister should continue on their posts,” said AAP leader Ashish Khetan.

The Congress had earlier demanded the resignation of Pradhan for allegedly taking undue advantage from a prime accused in the Vyapam scam.

On Wednesday, Pradhan had refuted all charges levelled at him by the Congress party, saying his travel documents are well documented and everything is in public domain.

The Congress had also said that in light of these revelations, there was no reason for Dharmendra Pradhan to continue as a Minister. (ANI)
