India win toss, opt to bat in Brisbane ODI

Brisbane, Jan.15 (ANI): India have won the toss and have elected to bat in the second ODI of the five-match series against Australia here at the Gabba on Friday.

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team have made one change in the team and have recalled Ishant Sharma in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Meanwhile the hosts have made three changes in their Playing XI.

Opener David Warner will miss the match because of birth of his second daughter, with Shaun Marsh set to take his place at the top of the order.

Also, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will take a rest before rejoining the squad for the third game in Melbourne.

Kane Richardson and John Hastings have been called for the second match against India.

India are currently trailing 0-1 in the series following their five-wicket defeat against the hosts in the opening match in Perth.
