Indian woman with alleged ISIS link sent to judicial custody

Hyderabad, Sept. 13 (ANI): A Hyderabad court on Sunday sent an Indian woman who was arrested for her alleged involvement in recruitment for ISIS terror outfit to 14-day judicial custody.

The woman named “Nikki” Joseph, who allegedly has been recruiting boys through the social media networks to be sent to the Islamic State, was deported by UAE on Thursday night along with her husband Devender Batra alias Mustafa and their three daughters.

A report from the government had earlier pointed out that many Indians were increasingly getting influenced by the terror group through social media and were leaving the nation to join the ISIS. (ANI)
