The City of Brampton is inviting community groups, arts and cultural organizations, and local creative professionals of all kinds to a Culture Days 2016 Community Information Session on May 26. Come and find out how you can be a part of this popular arts and culture weekend, scheduled to take place September 30 to October 2, 2016.
Representatives of the national Culture Days program, City staff and leaders of prominent local arts and culture organizations will be on hand at the Culture Days 2016 Community Information Session from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, May 26. This free event will be held at the City Hall Campus, on the second floor of the West Tower in Boardroom WT-2C. Join us to learn more about current plans for Culture Days 2016, and how you can get involved.
Now in its seventh year, Culture Days invites the public to create, participate and share in arts and culture activities in every community across the country. In 2015, the annual Culture Days weekend saw more than half a million participants in over 2,000 activities across Ontario. Brampton was among the top three communities in the province last year, with more than 30 different groups presenting 93 interactive art and culture experiences for 10,000 residents and visitors.
