New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS) A two-day national conference of investigators from all security agencies of central and state governments will be held in the national capital to discuss common problems and improve coordination among themselves, an official said on Thursday.
The conference will be inaugurated by Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday.
“The conference of investigators, first of its kind, from agencies like National Investigation Agency (NIA), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and others from states will participate and discuss common problems in investigation, and they will also discuss ways and means to improve coordination to improve their functioning,” Abhay, Director Training, Bureau of Police Research and Development, told the media at a press conference
The conference, aimed to discuss investigation in economic, cyber and organised crimes, is expected to be attended by officials almost from all states, he said.
It is being organised by Bureau of Police Research and Development in coordination with the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
