Johannesburg, June 25 (ANI): Former Pakistan cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq heaped praise on Younis Khan for earning his 100th test cap during the second Test of the three-match series against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
The 37-year-old veteran batsman became the fifth Pakistani cricketer to achieve this milestone after Javed Miandad (124), Inzamam (119), Wasim Akram (104) and Salim Malik (103).
Praising his former team mate, Inzamam said that Younis was the most hard-working of all of the above mentioned stalwarts. He further said that although Younis was not as naturally talented as the others were, the batsman overcame that with his sheer hard work and uncompromising commitment, Sport24 reported.
Hailing Younis’ extraordinary fitness level, Inzamam said that he believes that the batsman could still play for a few more years before drawing curtains on his international career. (ANI)
