IPL: Kings XI win toss; opt to field vs RCB

Mohali, May 9 (IANS) Kings XI Punjab skipper Murali Vijay won the toss and elected to field against a strong Royal Challengers Bangalore side in a league game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here on Monday.

The home side made two changes from the side which won the previous match against Delhi Daredevils with South African all-rounder Farhaan Behardien replacing an in-form Glenn Maxwell while Gurkeerat Singh made way for seamer Anureet Singh.

On the other hand, the Virat Kohli-led visitors made just one change with left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdulla replacing Jammu and Kashmir off-spinner Parvez Rasool.

Kings XI Punjab: Murali Vijay (Captain), Marcus Stoinis, Hashim Amla, David Miller, Farhaan Behardien, Wriddhiman Saha (WK), Axar Patel, Mohit Sharma, Anureet Singh, Sandeep Sharma, KC Cariappa.
