Iran to play soccer friendly with Macedonia on June 3

Tehran, May 20 (IANS) The Iranian soccer team will play a friendly with Macedonia on June 3.

The match will be held in Skopje of Macedonia as a part of Iran’s preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, Tasnim news agency reported on Thursday, according to Xinhua.

Iran has been drawn with South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Syria and China in Group A.

Iran’s scheduled friendly against Norway was called off earlier.
