Srinagar, Jan. 12 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta has said that the Budget Session called by the previous government stands cancelled as of now, and added that a decision in this regard would be made only after discussion with the new Chief Minister.

“I don’t think Budget Session will commence on schedule. Any decision on the Session will be taken only after discussion with new Chief Minister’s swearing-in ceremony. I don’t think it is possible to have Assembly session from January 18,” Gupta said

“After the death of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, the situation has been tense. We will form the government very soon. Even if there is a delay by a day or two, there will not be any problem,” he added.
