Be it comedy, negative or character roles, Malayalam actor Jayasurya has proved to be one of the most versatile stars in Malayalam. The actor, who refuses to be typecast in his movies, is currently basking in the success of the film “School Bus.” He has now shocked fans with a complete make-over for his upcoming movie “Pretham.”
Jayasurya shaved off all his hair for the forthcoming Ranjith Sankar movie, in which the actor plays a mysteious character called John Don Bosco. “Taking your hair off for a movie means the actor not being able to act in another movie for some time. Am myself looking forward to the bald John Don Bosco,” director Ranjith posted on his Facebook page.
In “Pretham,” or ‘Ghost’ Jayasurya’s character John has spent his childhood days in a Don Bosco orphanage and carries the name of the institution as his surnamee. The horror genre film T has Aju Varghese as a middle-class man named Priyalal, Govind Padmasoorya as globetrotter Shibu Majeed and Joju George as Denny Kokken, a wealthy layabout.
“Pretham” is marks the coming together of Ranjith and Jayasurya after their superhits “Punyalan Agarbattis” and “Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam.” The movie will hit the screens on Aug. 12. – CINEWS
