Jeep rides, safety talks and lots of fun at Peel Children’s Village

The Peel Children’s Safety Village, located at 7575 Kennedy Road S., Brampton, will be open to the public for  Pedestrian Pedal Power Days on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 26th, 2016
  • Wednesday, August 10th, 2016
  • Tuesday, August 16th, 2016
  • Wednesday, August, 17th, 2016

Officers will review key safety rules with participants, including hand signals and pedestrian safety, before the children take a tour of our miniature village.  The outdoor portion includes either riding the jeeps or bicycles and participating in a walk through our village.

Use of the Jeeps are for children in JK through Grade 2.

Bikes are for all ages. Please note that we have limited bikes and encourage children to bring their own to ensure they are able to participate. Children MUST bring their own helmet in order to ride a bike.

Sessions with jeeps will run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Sessions with bikes will run from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.


Sessions are limited to 20 children per session.
