Jharkhand: ‘Operation Muskan’ brings four kids home

New Delhi, July 18 (ANI): In an endeavor to stop human trafficking and trace the missing kids below 18 years of age, the police in Jharkhand’s Latehar District on the orders of IG (CID) Sampat Meena rescued four children and handed them over to their family members under ‘Operation Muskan’.

The police personnel also advised the family members of the kids that their wards should be sent to school and not allowed to do any sort of work. They family members of the children were also asked to sign a bond in this regard.

Of the 18 kids rescued, two were from Lohardaga district and two from Palamu district.

Taking note of the fact that these children worked in a local hotel near Latehar, the police inquired about their family members, called them to the police station and sent the children back home. (ANI)
