JIT calling Pathankot attack ‘staged’ by India very funny: Expert

New Delhi, Apr. 5 (ANI): Defence expert Qamar Agha on Tuesday condemned the Pakistani Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for calling the Pathankot terror attack a ‘vicious propaganda’ by India and added it is funny, that after providing all possible evidence, Islamabad is coming up with such statements.

“It’s very funny you provided all the possible evidences, shown all the places to them and yet they are coming up with such statements. It should be condemnable by not only us but internationally community as well,” Agha told ANI here.

He said it has been Islamabad’s history to deny its involvement in any militant related strike.

“Earlier they used to say that non-state actors were involved in such incidents and now they are totally denying involvement of any form. I think we have to build some more pressure on Pakistan,” he added.

The JIT has said the Pathankot terror attack was ‘staged’ by India.

The attack, it said, was a drama staged to malign Pakistan,” according to a report in Pakistan Today.

It further said that the JIT report, will be submitted to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. It concluded that the Indian authorities had prior information about the terrorists. (ANI)
