J&K youth quits militancy after 7 months

Srinagar, Sep 13 (IANS) A youth in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday surrendered before the police seven months after joining the militant ranks, police said.

Rouf Ahmad of Sehpora village in Ganderbal had joined the Zakir Musa-led group Ansar Ghazwatul Hind and had disappeared seven months ago, the police added.
