Johannesburg, Feb. 13(ANI): Justin Bieber claims that he has not done anything wrong and insists that he had the right papers when his pet monkey was confiscated by customs officers.
The 21-year-old singer took his unexpected birthday gift to Germany in 2013 and the monkey named OG Mally was seized and placed under quarantine after his arrival in Munich, reports News24.com.
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Bieber said that everyone told him not to bring the monkey, but he was adamant that it was going to be fine.
He added that he even had it written out that he was a circus monkey and he could travel.
Bieber was given a date until May 7 2013 to produce the proper paperwork for the capuchin monkey, but after he failed to respond. German officials then demanded 8,000 dollars to cover the cost of relocating OG Mally to a zoo. (ANI)
