Actress Kalki Koechlin and her father, Joel, will host a travel show exploring breadth taking terrains of North East India.
Slated to go on air in September, the FOX Life show has been designed to appeal to not just travel enthusiasts but also to photographer who have not focussed their attention ov the isolated beauty the vast wilderness, foodies with insatiable appetite for ethnic gourmet , adventurers and explorers.
In the 4,000-kilometre motorbike adventure the 32-year-old actress and her father, who is a biker and renowned photographer, will travel through the unspoiled landscapes of the region, battling adverse weather conditions and rocky terrains.
“It feels great to work with the team at FOX Life again. The North-East has always intrigued me and it will be quite an experience to explore the terrain on two wheels,” she said.
The journey also aims at breaking the stereotypes associated with the celebrity travel.
Kalki is an Indian actress and screenwriter of French ethnicity, who predominantly works in Bollywood. Apart from acting in films, she is also a regular presence in theatre productions in India. Koechlin is a recipient of a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award and two Screen Awards.- CINEWS
