Mumbai, March 7 (CINEWS): Mirror was the first to report about Kamal Haasan’s Bollywood rebound with Amar Hain (June 4), which he was to direct and act in. Presently, we hear the film is off the rack.
“It was a multi-starrer and continued getting deferred as individuals needed to know more about the story. They may have had a lot of time staring them in the face, I didn’t. So I chose to proceed onward,” is the abrupt reaction from the actordirector whose rebound arrangement has now taken a temporary route of sorts.
Haasan’s next, a Hindi-Tamil-Telugu trilingual comic drama thriller, will see him offer screen space with performer little girl Shruti surprisingly after she showed up in a cameo in his 2000 film, Hey Ram. The couple plays father-little girl with Paresh Rawal in a critical part. “It will go on the floor this April and will be coordinated by TK Rajeev Kumar,” the 61-year-old veteran uncovers, including that his firstborn is a major star down South and his generation house, in the same way as other others, has been lining up for her dates.
Shouldn’t something be said about Shruti’s more youthful sister Akshara who made her acting introduction in Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanushstarrer Shamitabh? “She has quite recently begun so it is out of line to investigate her profession. I am glad that both my little girls have made a specialty for themselves without utilizing my name,” he says.
Haasan was the visitor of honor at the second version of Film Safeguarding and Rebuilding workshop at the National Film Documents of India in Pune on Sunday. Lauding the activity to save Indian celluloid works of art, he recollects previous NFAI executive PK Nair who passed away on Walk 5. “He was an incredible man, a saint for some, including me,” he says, thinking back that it was Nair who regularly extinguished his hunger for good film. “There weren’t numerous stages to watch great movies some time recently. When I needed to watch one, he’d let me know where precisely I would discover it.”
