Washington D.C., Mar. 22 (ANI): Sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are in legal trouble due to their own makeup line.
A new lawsuit reportedly alleges the trio could be liable for up to 190 million dollar for not tweeting about their beauty line, ‘Kardashian Beauty,’ reports TMZ.com.
The lawsuit claims Hillair Capital Management put up more than 10 million dollar to save the makeup line after their former business partner went belly up.
The Kardashian sisters originally partnered up with a company called Boldface in 2012, launching a makeup line called ‘Khroma Beauty.’
But a year later, a judge blocked the company from using the name ‘Khroma’ and hence, the name was changed to ‘Kardashian Beauty,’ but Boldface started tanking.
Now, the Hillair claims that Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney did not hold up their end of the bargain by blasting out the virtues of ‘Kardashian Beauty’ to their millions of followers. As a result, the company wants its 10 million dollars back along with what they would have made, which makes it up to 180 million dollars.(ANI)
