Actress Karisma Kapoor says she made major fashion bloopers during her early days in the film industry. The 42-year old actress, who entered Bollywood at 17, said with time her fashion sense has evolved and people praise her for it.
“I have made many fashion blunders. I was so young when I joined films. It was like I was just out of school and on the film set. We didn’t know much. But as I have grown up in the industry, my fashion sense has evolved. And I feel I do have a distinct sense of style and I am glad that people like my style,” Karisma said.
The ‘Zubeidaa’ star said actresses of this generation have it easy as they have a whole team working on their looks. “When I started years ago we never had good stylists, such great make-up artists, now there is an entire team behind the actresses. I think its way easier for today’s generation of actresses to look good. We just had to wear what directors or producers asked us to wear those days,” she added.
The actress loves being classic when it comes to her personal style sense.
“My fashion sense is just about me being me. I like the sophisticated and classic styles and looks and I have always stuck to that. I think that is what I am and it reflects through me,” she said on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.
Karisma, whose last film was “Dangerous Ishq” in 2014, has not signed any new projects as she wants to give time to her kids.
“For me, family comes first and kids are most important. I do keep myself busy with lots of endorsements and events,” she said. – CINEWS
