New Delhi, Sept.19 (ANI): Reacting to the resignation of Supreme Court advocate H. S. Phoolka from the Aam Admi Party(AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi on Saturday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s brand of alternative politics is self-defeating in nature, and only a place for ‘stooge disciples’ and not talented leaders.
“Kejriwal’s new brand of alternative politics is self-defeatist in nature. Nobody who has talent, merit or self respect would like to stay in this party (AAP). You have to be a complete stooge. The team of party workers is made to bow in front of Kejriwal. He (Kejriwal) does not need talented leaders, but only disciples working for him. This is the reason, one after another everyone is leaving,” Ilmi told ANI here.
“The whole idea of this party (AAP) was to break away from traditional politics and believe in giving alternative politics. As a result of this, we can now see that people are running away from politics,” she added.
Supreme Court advocate and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member H S Phoolka on Saturday resigned from all his posts in the party, saying he wants to focus on the cases of Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler which are at a very crucial juncture.(ANI)
