New Delhi, Feb.17 (ANI): Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and members of his cabinet today abstained from the “At Home” function of the Delhi Police.

The function was held a day after the 69th Raising Day of the police force, which is currently headed and led by police commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi.

Bassi has had a frosty relationship with the present Delhi Government since it came to power in February 2015.

On Wednesday, Kejriwal, taking to Twitter, said Bassi’s handling of the law and order situation in the national capital, especially in the wake of the ongoing agitation at Jawaharlal Nehru University, was poor.

Kejriwal “Delhi Police openly flouting SC orders. Bassi acting so brazenly. What is source of his confidence? What instructions does he have from his bosses?”

Bassi has in the recent past said that he will expose the AAP for making false allegations against him and the Delhi Police. (ANI)
