New Delhi, Dec. 22 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resignation for the “fraudulent” raid on his office that he got carried out just to save Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
“If the raid was for my Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar, what was the need to come to my office,” the Delhi Chief Minister sought to know from Prime Minister Modi and the Central Bureau of Investigation..
While addressing the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal said, “Rajendra Kumar was being interrogated by the CBI for hours for the past six days. I want to ask the Prime Minister what did he discover? Nothing.”
“If my job is to punish corrupt officers, then it is also my job to protect honest officers,” he said.
“(PM) Kehte the ki na khaunga na khaane dunga”, woh sab ho gaya. Ab hai na kaam karunga, na kaam karne dunga,” said Kejriwal. “When I meet PM, I will tell him one thing – we don’t need money or land, just stop hampering our work.”
“I’ll take PM’s projects like Swacch Bharat forward in Delhi, and will give PM all the credit. But they should just stop troubling us.”
“Delhi mein haar ki peeda PM ji bhula nahin pa rahe hain, jab bhi PM ke saamne mera naam aata hai to unka khoon khaul jaata hai,” he said. (ANI)
