Mumbai, December 2 (CINEWS): MP-performer, Kirron Kher, has looked at the sacking of her spouse, Anupam Kher, as Chairperson of Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) not long after UPA-I came to control in 2004 as a glaring occasion of prejudice.
“My spouse was the Censor Board boss when Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Government was in force. He was uprooted overnight when the UPA Government came into force and Ms. Sharmila Tagore, with due appreciation to her, was designated Chairperson,” Kirron educated, as reported by Mumbai Mirror. Taking part in an open deliberation on “narrow-mindedness” in the Lok Sabha, Kirron asked, “Was this resistance? Two individuals who began this crusade against him despite the fact that he was the Censor Board Chief who passed Black Friday with no cuts. These same two individuals, who are narrative movie producers, began this issue about prejudice. We are in the film business, we know and remember them.
