London, Dec 11 (ANI): After Sam Smith’s ‘Spectre’ theme disappointed the fans, Lana Del Ray has revealed that she would have jumped at the chance to record the ‘Bond’ theme, but says she was never asked.
The 30-year-old singer, who penned the beautiful lead single from ‘The Great Gatsby,’ has revealed that she would have done the Spectre theme if she was asked to, but she wasn’t asked, the Independent reported.
The ‘Young and Beautiful’ hit-maker added that she loves all of the Bond music that’s been put out over the years and she loves soundtracks in general. There are a couple of songs on ‘Honeymoon’ that have a Bond feels like “24” and “Swan Song.”
Del Rey had been among the acts rumoured to follow Adele, who won the Best Original Song Oscar for “Skyfall” in 2012, but Smith was chosen after a hugely successful year in the global charts. (ANI)
