Washington D.C., Mar. 29 (ANI): Lil Wayne sued Universal Music Group over its financial arrangement with Cash Money.
According to the federal lawsuit, UMG advanced Birdman’s label 100 million dollars and has slowly been paying itself back, reports TMZ.com.
Wayne’s issue is half that money going back to Universal is his, under the terms of his deal with Cash Money.
The 33-year-old hip hop star said that a bulk of the revenue was earned by his Young Money artists, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga, so he deserves a healthy cut.
Furious Waynes demands at least 20 million dollar. (ANI)
