Louisiana shooting: Gunman had history of ‘mental health issues’

London, July 25 (ANI): The gunman who killed two people at a theatre in Louisiana before shooting himself, had a history of mental health issues, according to court documents.

According to THE BBC, John Houser fired a dozen rounds from a handgun at the cinema in Lafayette.

Police said that he bought the gun legally at a pawn shop in Alabama.

According to reports, Houser’s family won a protective order against him in 2008 due to “various acts of violence” towards them.

Police said that Houser had been living in a motel since the beginning of July, adding that he was a “drifter” from Alabama. (ANI)
