New Delhi, Apr. 5 (ANI): Actress Patralekha, who received a lot of appreciation for her ‘homely’ performance in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Citylight’, is all set to stun the audience with her ‘bold and brave’ avatar in Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Love Games’.
The film, which brings the concept of partner swapping and threesome into lime light, will show Patralekha in an unforgiving role completely opposite to what she is in person or the way she portrayed herself in her last film.
The actress, however, said the journey of this film has transformed her from a girl to a woman regardless of the difficulties she faced in portraying the character of an independent and unapologetic Ramona Raichand.
“A lot of drilling went into learning about the character. I literally had to drill my brain to get into my character because Ramona is a very different woman. She is independent, fierce, unapologetic and likes to do things which a normal woman wouldn’t like to do. I really had to transform myself mentally and physically. Had to lose weight, think completely opposite to the way I do,” the 26-year-old actress told ANI.
“And most importantly, I had to be freer in the head because Ramona is an untamable person, who is free from societal boundaries. But I would also like to say that I have transformed very positively. When I started to shoot the film, I was a girl but by the end of the film I became a woman,” she added.
Produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt, ‘Love Games’ also stars and marks the debut of Gaurav Arora and Tara Alisha Berry.
This Vikram Bhatt directorial film is slated to release on April 8. (ANI)
