Luis Suarez leads La Liga scorers’ chart with 34 goals

Madrid, April 25 (IANS) Barcelona’s Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez is leading La Liga scorers’ chart with 34 goals, after netting four during his team’s 6-0 victory against Sporting Gijon on Saturday in the 35th round of the football tournament.

After being atop the list, Real Madrid Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo went down to second place with 31 goals, reports Efe.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s Argentine star Lionel Messi holds the third spot with 25 goals, followed by Brazilian teammate Neymar and Real Madrid’s French forward Karim Benzema.
