Man die in hit-and-run in Vaughan; driver sought

A 35-year-old man was the victim of a hit-and-run crash on Monday, August 8, 2016, at approximately 11:25 p.m.,in the area of Highway 7 and Keele Street in the city of Vaughan.

Adam COLUCCI from Woodbridge was found severely injured on the road and taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police believe the he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at the collision scene.

Investigators are releasing video surveillance footage of two vehicles that were seen in the area of the collision and may have witnessed the suspect vehicle that struck Mr. COLUCCI. Investigators are appealing to the drivers of these vehicles to come forward and contact police.

The investigation is ongoing and investigators are also appealing to the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision to seek legal counsel and turn yourself in.
