Man held in Halton Hills stabbing case

Halton Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Guelph Street and Rexway Drive in the Town of Halton Hills. On June 14th 2016, at approximately 12:50 pm, police responded to a disturbance call where two male parties were engaged in a physical altercation.

Over the course of the altercation one male party assaulted the other with a knife causing serious but non-life threating injuries.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. One male party has since been arrested by police.

Anthony Faiola (31 years) of Halton Hills has since been charged with: Aggravated Assault, Weapon Dangerous, Carry concealed weapon

Faiola has been held for a bail hearing. The victim in this matter is being treated for his injuries and is in stable condition. – CINEWS
