Man sought for ‘approaching’ 2-year-old girl

peel police seeks manPeel Regional Police Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious person.

On Sunday August 7, 2016 at approximately 12:45 p.m. an unknown male was observed at a splash pad in Jack Darling Park located on Lakeshore Road West in the city of Mississauga. At this time the male approached a two year-old female and made attempts to engage in conversation while taking several photos of her. When approached by the adult parent the male became extremely nervous and demanded they not contact police.

The male is described as male, Asian, 5’10” feet tall, 45 – 60 years of age, wearing a light blue collared golf shirt, black baseball cap, glasses, and carrying a khaki coloured backpack.

Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area of Jack Darling Park located on Lakeshore Road West at the time of the incident or any individual who may have information on this matter.
