New Delhi, Sept. 14 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha said on Monday that the tactics of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are not working on former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manhji.
“I think BJP uses all kinds of tactics in closed corridors that are not working on Manjhi. Manjhi is right when he says that he should get as much seat as LJP has got. If the support base is compared, I think Manjhi will get 20 seats if Paswan has 19,” Jha told ANI.
“You can stitch an alliance in the closed corridors in Delhi, but that won’t get translated with the kind of support base Manjhi has. Whatever little support Paswan has for that matter will not stand in queue with BJP, which is known for an open support for the growth and genesis of Ranvir Sena. It is one reality which they are not factoring in,” he added.
Manjhi, who had initially agreed to go with the BJP president Amit Shah’s efforts to settle the seat-sharing, is now reportedly looking for more than 15 seats. (ANI)
