If August was all about the clash of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, September is a feast for cinema lovers with multiple movies lined up for release.
Among the films slated for release will be Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira, Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra’s Baar Baar Dekho, Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink, biopic MS Dhoni: An Untold Story starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Raaz Reboot and Banjo.
An action-packed movie Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role has been directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is the first release of the month on September 2.
Baar Baar Dekho, a love story starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, with the hit song Kala Chasma.
Another movie releasing on the same day is Freaky Ali starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui which is based on the sports of golf. The movie is produced and directed by Sohail Khan. Both films will release on September 9.
September 16 will have a suspense thriller, Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles is a court room drama with a strong message. Amitabh is playing a lawyer who is defending the case of three girls who have been molested. Raaz Reboot will also be released on the same day.
Banjo starring Ritesh Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri is yet another interesting movie to watch out. The movie is based on how a guy (played by Ritesh) from slums goes on to play Banjo on a bigger stage.
The month’s last Friday has the much-awaited movie – MS Dhoni The Untold Story in store. The trailer has already been very popular among the audience, considering it is based on the real life of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
There are low-budget films like Island City, Manmarziyaan and Days of Tafree also out this month. – CINEWS
